TECE14 Towards a European Circular Economy Congress Rome 21st-23rd May 2014

5 June, 2014

SCOW project was presented by Environment Park, one of the italian partners, during the event "Towards a European Circular Economy", a three-day environmental conference held in Rome from the 21st to the 23rd of May 2014, featuring many relevant international experts in sustainable waste management, representants of local authorities and international institutions.

ACR+, one of the associates of SCOW project organised a conference about how the Zero Waste Strategy can be a key element towards a European Circular Economy. Through a panel of European experts, “Circular Economy “ and “Zero Waste” concepts were analyzed and illustrated through concrete examples and by different stakeholders (local authorities, the European Commission and private sector’s representatives).

In addition, during the congress SCOW project was showcased through an information panel all along a dedicated environmental expo with other ENPI CBCMED projects which are dealing with sustainable waste management too. Both the conferences and exhibition meant an excellent opportunity to disseminate SCOW project, as well as to develop successful networking activities with other European projects in order to establish potential collaborations and synergies in the future.
